OPEN POSITIONS
GRADUATE STUDENTS
We are always seeking motivated, creative graduate students interested in synthetic biology, microbiology, chemical biology, and materials science. Interested students should apply to University of Texas at Austin doctoral programs in the departments of Chemical Engineering, ILS, or Chemistry.
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
We are always seeking motivated undergraduate researchers. Interested students in good academic standing should send a brief description of research interests and a resume to keitz[at]utexas.edu.
POSTDOCTORAL SCHOLARS
We are currently seeking two (2) postdoctoral scholars:
One position is available in the area of synthetic and systems biology. Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: genetic circuit design, microbiology, directed evolution, metabolic engineering, biofilm characterization.
Another position is available in the general areas of chemical biology or polymer science. Applicants with experience in one or more of the following areas are preferred: polymer synthesis & characterization, microbiology, organic synthesis, organometallic catalysis, bioorthogonal chemistry.
